Nordic Rainbow Trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) from the cold, fresh, and pristine waters of Finland and Sweden.
Our "Graavi" lightly salted rainbow trout are cooked through without heating and has a soft, sashimi-like texture that is well-loved. Each pack comes pre-sliced and ready to eat. During the curing process, salt is placed between the rainbow trout fillets, which cooks the fish for 1-4 days. In the past, the method was used in situations where large quantities of fish have been stored without cold storage.
Our lightly salted products in Finland are always made from fresh raw materials, never frozen. Our rainbow trout are responsibly farmed, safe, and ecological local food from the Finnish Archipelago Sea, Åland, and Sweden. We manage the entire rainbow trout production chain, from roe and fry to the finished slice.
