Our cold-smoked products in Finland are fully cooked and always made from fresh ingredients, never frozen. Our rainbow trout are responsibly farmed, safe, and ecological local food from the Finnish Archipelago Sea, Åland, and Sweden. We manage the entire rainbow trout production chain, from roe and fry to the finished cold-smoked slice. Thus, we can guarantee that the delicacy and quality that are part of our principles will always remain consistently high.
Our smoking process is the result of long and precise product development. In cold smoking, the fish is smoked at a low temperature, allowing the smoke and salt to give it flavour and colour. Due to the low temperature, very good care must be taken to ensure the purity and hygiene of the raw material. Smoking makes fish meat cooked and preserved, but does not destroy or diminish its valuable nutrients.
